Halifax Regional Police is on scene of a shooting that occurred in Dartmouth early this morning.
At approximately 5:40 a.m. officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Booth Street. Officers located a residence in the area that had been struck. There are no reported injuries.
Demetreous Lane in Dartmouth is closed to traffic, and we are asking the public to remain away from the area as officers continue to investigate.
