Police investigate robbery

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred in Halifax on the weekend.

On September 3 at approximately 10:50 p.m. officers responded to a robbery that had just occurred at a hotel in the 1900 block of Brunswick Street. The victim reported that earlier that night he had met a woman outside a restaurant in the 5200 block of Prince Street in Halifax. The woman later visited the man in his hotel room and stole his wallet. The victim attempted to follow the woman as she ran from the room, but two men with what were believed to be firearms threatened the victim. The two men then left the hotel with the woman.

The woman is described as white, in her 20s, thin build and long black hair. She was wearing a black dress and black boots.

One of the men is described as white, in his 30s, approximately 6’ tall, athletic build and short dark hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans.

The other man is described as white, in his 20s to 30s, approximately 6’ tall, athletic build, short dark hair and dark facial hair. He was wearing a black jacket, a black baseball hat and jeans.
