Update: Police investigate robbery
Police now have a suspect in custody but will remain on scene for further investigation. There is no threat to public safety and the road closures in the area are now open to pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred this morning in Dartmouth.
At approximately 8:50 a.m. police were called to the 0-100 block of Nantucket Drive for a report of a robbery. Police are currently conducting an operation around Boland Road and Victoria Road, which are both closed to pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Police ask the public to avoid the area and use alternate routes to allow officers to conduct the investigation.
