Police investigate robbery

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred in Halifax yesterday.

At approximately 3:20 p.m., officers responded to a robbery that had just occurred in the area of the 1000 block of Barrington Street. A man with a knife approached another man, who was walking in the area and demanded his property. The suspect fled the area with the victim’s wallet. The victim was not physically injured.

The suspect is described to police as being a white man, who was wearing a dark black or blue waist length coat, black boots with grey fur trim and a baseball hat.
