The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that the sidewalk on the west side of Lower Water Street between Prince and George streets will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. tonight to Saturday.
The closure is to facilitate the removal of scaffolding on the Dominion Public Building.
Pedestrians are asked to use the sidewalk on Bedford Row or the floating sea bridge on the waterfront boardwalk.
