The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists to expect delays next week on Joseph Howe Drive between the Armdale Rotary and Rockwood Avenue.
Crews will be installing water pipes on Craigmore Drive between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. from Monday to Thursday of next week, which will cause delays on Joseph Howe Drive.
There will be traffic control personnel set up with an altered centre line due to two inbound lanes being used. Two lanes of traffic, in each direction, will be maintained at all times. The traffic control set-up will remain in place overnight each night.
Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. Pedestrian and cycling traffic will be directed around the work site as necessary.
