Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that South Park Street will be closed Monday and Tuesday between Sackville Street and Spring Garden Road to facilitate the delivery and erection of a crane at the South Park construction site.
The street will close at 9 a.m. Monday morning and will re-open at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 21. It should be noted South Park will remain open to local traffic for accessing shops and services on the street and along Spring Garden Road.
Detour signage and traffic control personnel will be on site to direct traffic throughout the street closure.
The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience this road work may cause.
