Tuesday, July 26, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that beginning tomorrow and continuing until Friday, August 19, a block-by-block moving street closure will take place on Everette Street between Pleasant and Lyon streets, to accommodate water main installation work.
Crews will be on site each day from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Bus service on Everett Street will be suspended on both days while work is underway. Affected Halifax Transit passengers are asked to contact 311 for updates related to the bus schedule.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this road work may cause.
