The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents, pedestrians, and motorists the sidewalk along parts of Brenton Street and Brenton Place will be closed beginning Monday, and continuing until Jan. 22, 2018.
The sidewalk closure on the west side of Brenton Street and the north side of Brenton Place is necessary as Dexter Construction begins demolition of six buildings.
Pedestrians can use the sidewalks on the opposite side of these streets. This work is planned for 35 days and the one-way street traffic will be maintained. Motorists may experience delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
