The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists road construction will take place this afternoon on Basinview Drive between Wimbledon and Horizon roads.
Crews will be on site from noon to 6 p.m. Motorists can expect stop-and-go traffic while work is underway.
Drivers are asked to use an alternative route whenever possible.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is completed.
