The Outdoor Youth Ops Club is designed for youth ages 12–16 who have completed Grade 7 and want to make a positive impact in their communities while building confidence, leadership skills, and a connection to the outdoors. Through fun, engaging, and hands-on experiences, participants will explore outdoor recreation, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships.

- Wednesday Night - Club / Hang Out Night
This is a weekly time that the building is always open to the club. Every week, no matter what other events are happening, the club will meet at the centre on Wednesday. They get to hang out at Fleming. Do homework, play board games, have snacks, talk about what they want to do next month, etc.
- Training Modules
Youth will have the opportunity to continue to learn and develop their leadership and outdoor skills. Trainings may include:
- How to lead fire building
- How to lead shelter building
- How to lead earth walks
- General leadership
- Canoeing certification
- And more!
- Volunteer opportunities
Youth can volunteer in our current offering of programs or in various other events to give back to the community.
- Recreation Programs may include:
- Outdoor Navigators Club
- Women's Program
- Fishing Program
- PD Day Camps
- March Break Camp
- Other volunteer opportunities may include:
- Beach clean up
- Park clean up
- Cooking for Ronald McDonald House
- Etc

Youth will have the opportunities to plan and implement community events for special days such as:
- National hike day
- Get Outdoors Day
- National Plant a Flower Day
- Recreation Day
