9.1.1 Marketing Levy Special Event Reserve Grants 2026 Report [PDF]
Motion:
That the Special Events Advisory Committee recommend Halifax Regional Council:
1. Approve the total funding in the amount of $681,250 from the 2026/2027 Community and Events Reserve, Q621, summarized in Table 2 and detailed in Attachment 1of the staff report dated April 8, 2026; and
2. Pending the approval of the 2027/2028 budget, approve $400,000 from the Community and Events Reserve, Q621, for Halifax Pride Society to host Canada Pride 2027.

The Committee may rise and go into a private In Camera session, in accordance with Section 19 of the Halifax Regional Municipality Charter, for the purpose of dealing with the following:
